David holds an MA in Protestant Theology from the College of the Union of Evangelical Free Churches in Germany. He graduated with a specialization in Mission and Diaconia. He has been a pastor in the Union of Evangelical Free Churches in Germany since 2013. He completed his vicariate with a paper reflecting theologically on the practice of church asylums. For many years he has been committed to helping people on the margins of society. He has a long history of working with people with disabilities, the homeless and refugees.
He has been involved in the EBF's "Freedom of Religion or Belief" working group and is currently a member of the advisory board of the Presidium of the Union of Evangelical Free Churches in Germany for Gospel and Social Responsibility.
