Shane McNary

Shane holds a ThM in Intercultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary and an MDiv from Baylor University's George W. Truett Theological Seminary. His advocacy efforts are notable, especially in combating blasphemy laws and ensuring religious rights for minority faiths, with activities ranging from local meetings to international discussions at the United Nations. He served as chair of EBF's Freedom and Justice Commission and is vice-chair of BWA's Religious Freedom Commission.

Recently, McNary has taken on a new leadership role as co-coordinator of CBF-Great Rivers Fellowship, a regional organization within the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, where he aims to foster a supportive network of churches and ministries focused on justice and community transformation. He lives in Little Rock, Arkansas.
