This course takes a human rights based approach to FORB and will equip participants with the tools necessary to become trainers and advocates for FoRB in their context.

This course is ideally suited to educators, pastors, activists, missionaries, researchers, those who serve in politics, and anyone with a desire to develop their knowledge in human rights.

Additionally, the programme will introduce participants to important Baptist perspectives on FoRB.

Course Details

During the course, participants are taught how to communicate knowledge about human rights, identify a specific problem or concrete violation of human rights in their context and develop a human rights strategy together with others.

The course starts with an online introduction week from 12 March 2025 (there will be no live Zoom meeting on this week). The dates of the Zoom meetings will be: 19 March, 26 March, 2 April, 9 April, 16 April, 23 April, 30 April, 7 May, 14 May, 21 May, 28 May, 4 June, 11 June;

The Zoom meetings will always start at 17:00 (CET), and will take approximately 1.5 hour.

It is our conviction that an equal learning community at eye level, focusing on the needs and backgrounds of the participants, creates the best basis for sustainable experiences and relationships.

We look forward to welcoming various guests who will enrich our meetings with their experiences.
